Common experiences have the ability to bring together people who come from all walks of life. One example is these common experiences is the excitement which overcomes pretty much everyone on a Friday morning. And then excitement once again when you receive an email which reads,
"Hi (insert name here), Happy Friday!!"
Friday discussions generally revolve around the plans of relaxation and debauchery that will talk place over the weekend. But there is definitely is something else which people bond over more even more. It is of course, pay day.
You can't help but feel joyous about having cashola appear in your bank account, regardless of how little or great that sum may be. Pay days allow groups of friends, co-workers and even strangers to get together, mingle, eat and drink and generally have a good time.

Uh duh, but why the blog when all of this is totes obvs? Here is how my week went from E is for excitement, P is for pay day to D is for devastation.
This whole week I was particularly looking forward to it being Friday because it just so happened to also be pay day. It also meant that I could purchase this super hot jacket which caught my eye the week before. Throughout the week I checked Net-a-porter every day and every night to see that it was still is stock. Already in my shopping bag and ready to purchase, it was Thursday afternoon whilst I was having a very late lunch but very delicious Beef Sukothai when I saw this message appear on my screen...
It broke my heart and I'm still yet to recover.
