We Are Hunted

If there's a website I'm loving right now, it's online music chart, We Are Hunted. It's a magical site where you can discover the hottest new tunes from all around the world. Thanks to this guy, I've discovered some fabulously cool artists including, Holy Ghost!; Big Scary and Example.  Check it out for yourself.

Today I'm listening to Emma Louise - Jungle

I don't mind the freezing cold morning walk to the train station if I'm listening to this song.  Like it as much as I do? Download it for free, thanks Triple J.

Today I'm listening to Foster The People

These guys from Cali aren't just pretty faces, they also sing and play pretty sweet tunes.  I've got my hands on their yet to be released album, Torches, and you betcha I've got it on repeat.  I'm still to suss out which track is my favourite but I'll definitely keep you kids posted.

Until you're lucky enough to get the album yourself, you can stream the album here or just watch their video clip to their hit single, Pumped Up Kicks - because the genetically blessed were born to be perved on.

Kim Kardashian talents just keep expanding

Much like her rear.  Too harsh?  Her new single, Jam (Turn It Up), is exactly that.  Harsh on the ears.  But since all sales are being donated to charity, I'm hoping that Kim does what Kim does best - sell.  (I'm obviously not counting the kanned Kardashian Kard here.)

Song of the day/ week/ past three weeks

It's an oldie but a goodie.  For the past three weeks, I've been listening this tune on repeat.  It's keeping me sane.  And happy.  Why did I decide to delve into my music library and pick this particular track to listen to non-stop? Might have something to do with Yeasayer recently visit to Oz for Laneway Festival.

Ok, so I lie.  Occasionally I throw in this song into the one-track playlist to mix it up a bit.

And here's an subject appropriate accompanying track.  It was only Washington song I knew, and she didn't play it.

I love The Naked and Famous

Follow my blog with bloglovin

New Zealand band, The Naked and Famous are doing remarkably well since their debut album launched in September last year.

You've no doubt have heard their single Young Blood, a global hit which has been featured on Gossip Girl and also provides the soundtrack to the current Strongbow advertisement

My pick from the album, Passive Me, Aggressive You is tune Punching In A Dream. You can't help but sing along.
