Keira Knightley is a badass Coco Mademoiselle

In the new short film for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, directed by Joe Wright (of Atonement and Pride & Prejudice fame), we see a new and different Coco Mademoiselle to the one we're used to.

Gone are the tweed jackets and little black dresses, Keira Knightley in this new short, is one badass Mademoiselle. She has envy-worthy cheekbones, a sexily disheveled bob and beautifully plumped lips. She also rides motorbikes, wears boots and camel onesies and breaks hearts. All the girls want to be her and all the boys want to be with her.  Oh so cool, oh so sensuous, oh so fiercely independent.  She's oh so Chanel.

And on that note, I'm off to spritz myself with Coco Mademoiselle.

Chanel's soldiers

Presently on Facebook, there are 4,169 people who like this image.  151 people have left comments.  When you see the breathtaking image, you'll understand why.  What is it of? It is of one of my favourite models, Liu Wen, wearing one of my favourite luxury labels, Chanel.

And here it is...

And why not throw in another little bit of Chanel-spiration from the Pre-Fall 10 collection?

Tweed up with Chanel S/S 11

Which girl doesn't love Chanel?

I'm loving the fun nature of Chanel's Spring/ Summer 2011 ad campaign starring Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi and shot by Karl Lagerfeld. Crazy fun, crazy beautiful and crazy inspirational.  Thanks Uncle Karl!
